Resource Balance Analysis has been developed by Anne Goelzer (MIAT) and Vincent Fromion (Biosys) at INRAE. RBApy has mainly been developed by Stephan Fischer, Ana Bulović, and Anne Goelzer, and has been extended to eukaryotic cells by Oliver Bodeit. RBAtools has been developed by Oliver Bodeit.

If you use our RBA code for your research, please cite our articles Bulović et al. (2019) and Bodeit et al. (2026) (for RBApy) or Bodeit et al. (2023) (for RBAtools). We will be happy to add your RBA models to our model repository on GitHub and publish your RBA related code (for example, simulation studies in the form of Jupyter Notebooks) on our website.
